The department of Political Science is one of the resourceful (both human and infrastructural) dept of the college which started its journey by offering intermediate course of Civics (UE Course of C.U). In 1965 in terms of the memo No C.U.-C/2365/122 dt.14.05.1965 it upgraded as a full-fledged dept for imparting undergraduate level of General as well as Honours studies. At present, the dept has been complying constantly with all India level methodology of teaching-learning process including psycho-analysis of each and every learner, proper treatment of slow and advanced learners. With advancement of the multifarious scope of the subject, the dept has developed and designed its all resources in such a manner that the students may fascinate professionalism at large. The success rate, interms of obtaining degree as well as the aspirant of further study or professional course is remarkable.
