FACILITIES PROVIDED TO THE STUDENTS
1. Regular class tests are taken by the department.
2. Students can access computer from thecentral computer Laboratory.
3. The low scoring candidates are given special attentions and group discussions are arranged for them.
4. Special training for practical viva-voce is offered to the students (Hons) ofsemester-III.
5. The faculty members regularly interact with the students and solve several problems faced by them.
6. Regular guardian meetings are arranged with the faculty members. Also, guardians of the students are free to meet with faculty members if needed.
7. The department conducts tutorial classes regularly for honours students.
8. The teachers organize voluntary coaching for M.Sc. entrance in IIT, NIT (JAM-exam) and various universities.
9. The faculties guide, give advice, and support the mentee student and help a personal (Mentee) improve his or her abilities and skills through observation, assessment and by providing counselling and guidance under Student Mentoring System.
10. Seminar are organized by the faculty members and students are advised to deliver some topics in students’ seminar.
11. Students can prepare power point presentations and they can also learn several software like: MATHEMATICA, MATLAB, MS OFFICE, LATEX, etc. from the department with the help of faculties.
12. The faculty members always encourage the students for betterment of their future and they counsel individual studentand suggest them to achieve target after B.Sc.

Apart from regular teaching and learning, for overall development of the student, teachers encourage students to participate in social work programs like ‘Swaccha Bharat Avijan’, ‘Dengi prevention awareness’, ‘COVID consciousness’, ‘Cyber security’, ‘Horner to women’ etc. As a result a large part of admitted student in this department involved in NSS programs. They also celebrated various cultural program like ‘Independence day, Teachers’ day, Women’s’ day, Tagore’s Birth day, Gandhi Jayanti, College Foundation Day, Republic Day’ etc. Students also organize departmental cultural program like “Fresher’s Welcome, Farewell, Teachers’ Day” where students   participate in   quiz, debate, recitation, dance program, drama, and so many cultural programs. On the day of 5^th Sept, the students with the help of teachers of the department publish wall magazine ‘Infinity’. Parent-teacher meetings are occurred in every year to exchange the ideas for better of students. Our students also engage in NSS and NCC program in our college. In every year students participate college annual sports and cultural program. Some of them also participate in inter college sports and cultural competition.
