Students’ Grievance Redressal Cell

The Students’ Grievance Redressal Cell is constituted by the Governing Body of the college to redress the grievances of an individual student as well as those of a class level and also the grievances relating to the common interest of the students in general.
The main objective of this cell is to maintain a harmonious educational atmosphere in the campus by resolving problems of the students — academic, financial, library, accommodation, common facilities relating to sanitation, cleanliness, canteen etc.

Objectives & Functionalities of the cell:–

The cell takes particular care of gender-related grievances.
Complaints of students and also those of guardians are sought to be redressed as soon as they are received.
All complaints are scrutinized by the Students’ Grievance Redressal Cell;
After reviewing the grievances, the cell prepares the list under different categories;
They try to resolve the issues through face to face interactions with the complainant/s
In the event of their failure, notice of the higher authorities is drawn to the issues and directions and guidance of the higher authorities are sought
The cell prepares a list of the number of cases received, number of cases left pending;

Complaint-management mechanism of the cell:

The departmental level grievances are attended by the concerned class teachers/ mentors in consultation with the departmental heads.
Unresolved grievances at the departmental level are referred to the Students’ Grievance Redressal Cell of the institution.
The students can approach the Grievance Redressal Cell of the institution with their complaints relating to their common interests;
Depending on the seriousness of the problem, the issues are settled by the Cell or in consultation with higher authorities;
