On 12th September 2018, Wednesday, Tamralipta Mahavidyalaya arranged a Seminar on Scholarships. We know, scholarships provide an opportunity for many people to earn an education. Without assistance from an outside source, students may have trouble paying for several expenses they need in order to enter the workforce and become a contributing member of society

On 15th August, 2018, Wednesday, Tamralipta Mahavidyalaya celebrated India’s 72nd Independence Day under the leadership of Principal Dr. Abdul Motin. Faculty members viz., Dr. Sujit Kumar Bera, Dr. PritiRanjan Pahari, Dr. Krushna Chandra Patra were present along with a good number of students and Staff.

On 6th August, 2018, Monday, Education Dept. of Tamralipta Mahavidyalaya organized a Freshers’ Welcome Ceremony along with inauguration of Departmental Wall Magazine. Principal Dr. Abdul Motin, Faculty members and Students of Education Department were present in this auspicious assembly.

On 2nd August, 2018, Thursday, we celebrated our 70th Foundation Day. Principal Dr. Abdul Motin, senior Faculty Members viz., Prof. (Dr.) Anil Kumar Chakraborty, Dr. Arati Malakar, Prof. Bharat Sasmal, Dr. Sujit Kumar Bera, Dr. Shyamapada Maity, Dr. Madhusudan Jana, Dr. Priti Ranjan Pahari, Dr. Anjali Mondal, Librarian Mr. Swapan Paul, Staff Mr. Jagannah Pal, Mr. Dilip Samanta were present in this auspicious occasion. It was a milestone in the journey of the college which has grown from its humble beginnings to its eminent stature today. Tamralipta Mahavidyalaya was founded by a few visionary academicians and professionals 2nd August, 1948

On 8th March, 2018, Thursday, Tamralipta Mahavidyalaya observed International Women’s Day. The Anti-Sexual Harassment Cell and NSS units of this college organized this celebration in collaboration with District Health and Family Welfare Samiti, Purba Medinipur from where three distinguished resource persons delivered valuable lectures.

On 21st February, 2018, Wednesday, Tamralipta Mahavidyalaya organised a one-Day Workshop on “Use of E-Banking and Banking Instruments to All” in collaboration with SBI, Tamluk Branch.Along with the Teachers of this college, two designated officers of SBI were present in this workshop as the resource persons.

On 21st February, 2018, Wednesday, Tamralipta Mahavidyalaya Organised a one-day Seminar on Carrier Counselling under the aegis of Career Counselling Cell in collaboration with Bengal Institute of Dialysis Studies (BIDS) and IQAC of this college. Apart from Coordinator of IQAC Dr. Priti Ranjan Pahari and other Faculty members, two resource persons from BIDS delivered their valuable opinion and encouraged the students to enter in the field of dialysis machine operation

On 16th February, 2018, Friday, Tamralipta Mahavidyalaya Organised a one-day Seminar on Carrier Counselling under the aegis of Carrier Counselling Cell in collaboration with IQAC of this college. The main aim of career counselling is to help students choose a field that is in tune with their skills and their job expectations.

On 31st January, 2018, Wednesday, Tamralipta Mahavidyalaya organised a Thalassemia Screening and Awareness Programme in collaboration with School of Tropical Medicine, Kolkata.

On 23rd January, 2018, Tuesday, Tamralipta Mahavidyalaya celebrated 121st Birth Centenary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose. He was a charismatic influencer of the youth and earned the epithet ‘Netaji’ by establishing and leading the Indian National Army (INA) during India’s struggle for independence.

On 12th January, 2018, Friday, Tamralipta Mahavidyalaya celebrated 157th Birth Centenary of Swami Vivekananda. Swami Vivekananda , born Narendranath Datta(12 January 1863 – 4 July 1902), was an Indian Hindu monk, a chief disciple of the 19th-century Indian mystic Ramakrishna

On 9th – 10th January, 2018, Tamralipta Mahavidyalaya organized a Two Day National Seminar on ‘Role of Public Library in Archiving the Cultural Heritage of Bengal’ under the aegis of Central Library of this College.
