About Us
The Union Cabinet of India has approved the National Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Policy on 12th May, 2016. The Policy recognizes to foster creative and innovative ideas that are being streaming in India, and to channelize these ideas towards a better and brighter future ahead. The National IPR Policy is a vision document that includes all in a single platform. It broadens IPRs holistically, taking into account all inter-linkages and exploits synergies between all forms of intellectual property (IP), concerned statutes and agencies.
In this direction our college initiated the formation of IPR Cell in 2018 to encourage research and provide conducive environment to researchers and innovators. It also aims to create awareness on IPR among the all stakeholders of the college.
Objectives of the Cell:
- To generate awareness and impart knowledge on Intellectual property rights (IPR) among teachers, researchers and students of the college.
- To advice and channelize teachers, researchers and students on the importance of IPR.
- To conduct seminars, workshops, activities and training programs on IPR.
- To provide necessary guidelines on applicable terms and conditions and regulations regarding IPR.
- To create interest in latest inventions and discoveries of science in various fields.
